What does my Promote package include?
Each Promote package comes with a beautifully designed, custom landing page, monthly web hosting, managed Google AdWords campaigns, and advertising spend.
What is the difference between various Promote packages?
The key difference in packages at different prices is the amount of budget allocated to Google AdWords to drive leads for your business.
What is a lead?
A lead is a potential customer. We track leads in Google AdWords by the number of people who retrieve your contact information. Specifically, we report on the number of clicks on your phone number and the number of clicks to request directions to your business.
People who take these actions are those who are interested in contacting you for your services.
When will my landing page go live?
Your custom landing goes live as soon as you sign-up and hit submit. It’s that easy!
Where will my landing page run?
Currently, landing pages created by Promote are available on most smartphones, such as an iPhone or Android phone. Our developers are busy building the next generation of Promote-powered landing pages, which will be optimized to render beautifully on any device.
Can I customize my landing page?
The content in your landing page is 100% customizable. You can add information about your business, photos, your contact information, services, prices, links to your desktop website, social media pages, and more!
Can I change the colors of my landing page?
At this time, the colors of landing pages built through Promote are not customizable. Each website theme is designed to represent the industry of your business as best as possible.
Are changes to my landing page immediate?
Yes. Any changes you make to your landing page in your dashboard will be reflected in a handful of minutes.
Can I edit my landing page in the Promote app on my smartphone?
No, but please stay tuned. We’ve heard your feedback, and plan to offer editing for your landing page directly in the Promote App very soon!
When will my advertising campaign go live?
Your advertising campaign will go live within three days after signing up. Please be advised that the new ads we create for your business are subject to review and approval against the Google AdWords advertising policies , and this review process can take up to 72 hours to go through Google’s systems.
Will my ad be showing 24/7?
Several factors affect when your ad shows, including your budget and your campaign settings:
- Scheduling: Our AdWords-certified Account Managers will work with you to ensure your campaign is active only during the times you are regularly open to do business. For example, if you only serve clients between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm, we can work to ensure your ads do not run at 3am when you are closed.
- Budget: If your budget is set to accommodate up to 100 inquiries to your business (that is, paid clicks on your phone number, clicks to your landing page, etc.) and hundreds of thousands of people are searching for a business like yours in your area, Google AdWords may not show your ad for every search. This is to ensure that your advertising budget is spent evenly throughout the day. If you would like to show your ad more times per day, you may work with an Account Manager to process an appropriate budget increase.
Please be advised that we cannot 100% control when your ad is shown. Typically, our control is limited when there are other people advertising in the area for the same or similar businesses. In order for all the ads to be seen, Google may rotate the ads and sometimes you will be seen and sometimes other advertisements will be seen. That said, we continue to work on getting you the best search results possible by optimizing your ad based on your unique performance data.
CPC, PPC, pay-per-click campaigns...what are they and how do they work?
First some definitions:
- CPC stands for cost-per-click
- PPC stands for pay-per-click
- CPC, PPC, cost-per-click and pay-per-click are essentially synonyms
Your campaign has a set advertising budget and each time somebody sees your ad and clicks on it, a small portion of that budget is used. In other words, you only pay for clicks, not views of your ad. Please be advised that some clicks may turn directly into phone calls, while others may yield customers requesting directions to your business.
When your budget has been exhausted, your ad is paused until your next billing cycle begins. You may contact your Account Manager or email@example.com if you’d like to increase your budget to accommodate additional leads prior to your next billing date.
How can I keep my ad running longer?
You can add additional ad budget at any time during your campaign by contacting an AppStack Account Manager. The more budget you add, the longer your campaign will run and the greater the likelihood that you will receive more leads.
Can I add custom keywords for my AdWords campaign?
You sure can!
Our AdWords-certified Account Managers can delete and add keywords to better fit your business and customer acquisition goals. The keywords selected by our team have been chosen as the top performing keywords for your industry with high click through ratios and low click costs; however, we also want to make sure we’re properly bringing the right customers to you.
Contact your Account Manager or firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to review your campaign's keywords.
Can I change the area that my ads target?
By default, we’ll run a campaign that targets customers within 20 miles of your business location when you sign up. If you’re interested in offering your services to a broader customer base, you may may expand your targeting.
You may also shrink your radius, though we encourage you first to consider that many customers use their mobile phones to search for goods or services "on the go," and are willing to travel to you.
How much do my clicks cost?
CPCs (or cost of clicks) are determined by a number of factors, including the intensity of competition in your local market and the Google AdWords algorithm. We cannot control the final cost of clicks. However, we do set maximum “bids” so we make sure we don’t spend more than a click is worth to your business. Our AdWords-certified team of specialists also optimize our clients’ advertising campaigns daily to make sure we’re getting the best price possible for your clicks and driving the best results for your business.
How does my advertising budget get spent?
With Google AdWords, we are able to set a specific budget for your ad campaign. This ad budget is based on the cost of your Promote package. For example, if you start at our entry-level package with $100 of ad spend, we allocate that $100 to your optimized AdWords campaign each month.
Every time somebody clicks on your ad, the cost of that click is deducted from your budget. Once your campaign budget has been exhausted, your ad will be paused until your next billing cycle commences. You may contact your Account Manager or email@example.com if you’d like to increase your budget to accommodate additional leads prior to your next billing date.
Will my ad show on the first page of Google’s search results all the time?
We cannot guarantee you will be placed in the top spot or on the first page of Google’s search results for the entire duration of your campaign. Our Adwords-certified specialists work to get you the best placement in the sponsored ads sections possible, but there may be other individuals advertising similar services in your area who are willing to pay more to show there.
Ultimately, we review performance data for your account, and optimize to get you as many calls and leads for your business at the most efficient price possible.
Can people find my Promote landing page on their desktop or laptop computer?
Promote currently advertises exclusively on mobile devices. However, we are working on a solution to get you as many customers as possible regardless of their preferred device.
Please be advised that each Promote package does come with a custom desktop landing page on which you can view your mobile landing page.
How long is my billing cycle?
Promote observes a monthly billing cycle.
We bill on the same day each month. This means that if you sign-up on March 14, we will bill you on March 14 to guarantee one month of service. We will then automatically bill you on April 14 for the next month’s period of customer activity. Note that this is different from other companies that may run a 30-day billing cycle.
Can I monitor my AdWords campaign performance?
Yes. You will have access to your own custom dashboard that displays all of the statistics from your advertising campaign.
What type of statistics can we track?
Via your online dashboard or the Promote App, you can review a number of statistics, including:
- How many phone calls you received via Promote
- The content of those phone calls--yes, you can listen to each of them!
- How many requests for directions to your business were made
- How many total leads were delivered to your business
- Your remaining promotional budget
- Your spent promotional budget
- Your total budget
