What does my AppStack package include?
Each AppStack package comes with a beautifully designed, custom mobile website, monthly web hosting, managed Google AdWords campaigns, and advertising spend.
What is the difference between packages?
The difference between a package of say $199 and $499 is the amount of Google Adspend or advertising budget included. The more expensive the package, the more advertising budget you get and the longer your campaign is live on Google Mobile AdWords.
What is a lead?
We consider a lead to be a potential customer. We track leads in Google AdWords by the # of people who retrieve your contact information, or more specifically, the # of clicks on your phone number and the # of clicks to get directions to your business. These are people who are interested in contacting you for your services.
When will my mobile website go live?
Your mobile website goes live as soon as you sign-up and hit submit.
Can I customize my mobile website?
The content in your mobile website is 100% customizable. You can add information about your business, photos, your contact information, links to your desktop website, social media pages, and more!
Can I change the colors of my mobile website?
At this time, the colors of the mobile websites are not customizable. Each website theme is designed to represent the industry as best as possible.
Are changes to my mobile web app immediate?
Yes. Any changes you make to your mobile website in your dashboard will be reflected in real time.
When will my advertising campaign go live?
Your advertising campaign will go live within three days after signing up. Google has to approve all new ads and keywords.
Will my ad be showing 24/7?
Adwords and pay per click campaigns work on a rotation. There are other people advertising in the area with the same or similar keywords. In order for all the ads to be seen, Google rotates the ads and sometimes you will be seen and sometimes other advertisements will be seen. Unfortunately we are not able to control when your ad is shown. However, we DO work on getting you the best search results possible by optimizing your ad with our AdWords Specialists.
What is a CPC Campaign and how does it work?
CPC stands for cost per click. Your campaign has a set advertising budget and each time somebody sees your ad and clicks on it, a small portion of that budget is used (ie. pay per click). You only pay for clicks, not views of your ad. When your budget has been exhausted, your ad is paused until your next billing cycle.
How can I keep my ad running longer?
You can add additional ad budget at any time during your campaign by contacting an AppStack account manager. The more budget you add, the longer your campaign will run.
Can I add custom keywords for my AdWords campaign?
Yes, your keywords can be customized. You can delete and add keywords to better fit your business and industry. The keywords selected by AppStack have been chosen as the top performing keywords for your industry with high click through ratios and low click costs. But we also want to make sure we’re properly bringing in the right customers for you.
Can I change the area that my ads target?
Yes. Your campaign defaults to a 20 mile radius around your business location upon signing up. However, mobile businesses often like to expand their radius if they are willing to drive further for their customers. We do not suggest shrinking the radius though.
How much do my clicks cost?
CPCs or cost of clicks are determined by Google’s algorithm. We cannot control the cost of clicks. However, we do set maximum costs so we make sure we don’t spend more than a click is worth. Our AdWords specialists also optimize the advertising campaigns daily to make sure we’re getting the best price possible for your clicks.
How does my advertising budget get spent?
Pay per click advertising means you have an ad budget for your advertising campaign. This ad budget is based on the subscription amount you paid for. This budget sits in your advertising campaign as a ‘bank’ and every time somebody clicks on your ad, a small portion of your budget is deducted. Once your campaign budget has been exhausted, your ad will be paused until you bill again.
Will I be on the first page the whole time?
We cannot guarantee you will be placed in the top spot or on the first page the entire duration of your campaign. Our Adwords Specialists work towards getting you the best placement in the sponsored ads sections possible, but there may be other individuals advertising similar services in your area who are willing to pay more.
Can people find me on their desktop?
Appstack advertises exclusively on mobile devices. However, each package does come with a custom desktop landing page to view your mobile web app on.
How long is my billing cycle?
Your billing cycle is 30 days.
Can I monitor my AdWords campaign performance?
Yes. You will have access to your own custom dashboard that displays all of the statistics from your advertisings campaign.
What type of statistics can we track?
Phone Number Click: Either a ‘click to call’ from your Google ad or a click on your phone number in the mobile website.
Direction: A click for directions in your Google ad.
Headline: A click on the headline of your Google ad which redirects the potential customer to your mobile website. From there they can look around in the mobile web app and find out additional information about your business.
